Why we
STARTED?
In January 2024, God put into our hearts to launch a Christian clothing brand. This is not merely a business venture, but it is a heartfelt commitment in making a positive impact on the world by spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Through ‘Be Happy Do Good’ (BHDG) clothing line, we aim to create an opportunity for people to engage in meaningful conversations about faith, fostering a community where the gospel becomes a central topic of discussion.
The
NAME
“12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.” Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 (NIV)
This verse summarizes the meaning of this brand, to be happy and do good.
'Be happy' goes deeper than the emotion of happiness. Happiness is a fleeting feeling, it won't always be there. Our aim is to have joy which is long lasting and this is having contentment in God. Even in the difficulties we can enjoy our lives because we have security in God. We have the hope that no matter what life throws at us we can overcome them through Jesus.
'Do good' is not based on our own worldly understanding of good. Rather it is based on God's good, pleasing and perfect will. The life of Jesus is the perfect example of this. Jesus loved everyone and He selflessly gave His life up on the cross for all our sins so that we may have eternal life with Him. Let us do good by being like Jesus, loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and loving our neighbours just as we love ourselves. In this act of goodness we reflect Jesus' character and act out the fruit of the Spirit He has given us. Bringing glory to God's name.

BHDG makes streetwear clothing rooted in the scriptures. BHDG goes beyond fashion, it serves as an additional form of praise to celebrate and honour the teachings of Jesus. Acting as a subtle yet powerful way to express your faith.
Our mission is to intertwine faith and fashion, creating a platform that not only allows individuals to express their spirituality but also encourage dialogue and connection among those who share the common faith, and those who do not know Christ yet. With each piece in our collection, we hope to inspire conversations that resonate with the principles of love, compassion, and the timeless wisdom encapsulated in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

BHDG pledges to contribute 10% of every order towards Compassion, going towards the critical needs of partnered churches working to release children from poverty.
